    Fujifilm X20 and X100S

In the era of X, S, 1, 0 and all combinations in between, Fujifilm is right in the foray of beautiful cameras with superb imaging prowess. The Fujfilm X100 and X10 has proven to be top of the class respectively and now their successors are launched with sweet touches to the already excellent cameras.

    Fujifilm X20 and X100S

The X20 reuses the X10 body with exactly the same weight and dimensions. The X20 comes with a CMOS sensor which perhaps could add another stop in the ISO latitude while preserving it's brilliant colours output. All sets on hand are prototypes and memory cards were allowed in the cameras.
    Fujifilm X20 key features

    • 12MP 2/3"-type X-Trans CMOS sensor
    • On-chip phase detection autofocus
    • EXR Processor II
    • 'Advanced Optical Viewfinder' with exposure information overlay
    • 28-112mm equivalent, F2.0-2.8 lens with optical image stabilization
    • Manual zoom ring and lens retraction mechanism
    • Full manual control, RAW format recording
    • 3" 460k dot LCD
    • Full HD 1080/60fps movie recording (36Mbps bitrate)
    • Built-in stereo microphones, optional MIC-ST1 external microphone
    • Film simulation modes for different colour and monochrome 'looks'
    • In-camera RAW conversion with all processing parameters adjustable
    • 'Advanced Filters' image-processing controls, previewed live on-screen
    • Focus peaking display for manual focus using the rear LCD
    • Lens Modulation Optimiser for compensation of aberrations

    Fujifilm X20 and X100S

The X100s gets a similar treatment, with marginal changes including new MF modes: Zebra/alignment and highlighted contrast modes. Other changes include the mode dial, with the aperture priority function two notches away from the first shutter priority, perhaps to eliminate any mistakes while selection a mode!

Overall very classic cameras with availability very soon in the months to come and prices to be the same as when X10 and X100 were launched! Do expect the prices of X10/X100 to head south!

The majority of brushes are not on the same level as MAC, and there are some subtle differences that translate in application that makes me think Sigma really would be better off having their own numbering system and designing original brushes and improving upon their existing designs or similar-to-MAC brushes.
